Front Desk Agent

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to become a part of our team! You are the beginning of an exceptional guest experience. As a Front Desk Agent, you will make our guests feel welcome with your personalized interactions, care in guest room selection, and knowledge of the hotel will ensure our guests have a lasting memory of their visit. Responsibilities: Reserve rooms for guests at appropriate rates and process individual and group reservations in a timely and efficient manner. Perform check-in and check-out functions with courtesy, speed, and accuracy. Observe practices that ensure guest privacy. Limit access to guest and business records to authorized persons. Respond to guest needs, requests, and complaints Maintain records for registration, departure, room charges, room changes, valet and telephone charges, safety deposit boxes, etc. Complete paperwork legibly, promptly, and accurately. Efficiently handle all payment methods and perform shift bucket checks. Maintain desk area in a neat and orderly fashion and stock supplies the front desk and lobby supplies. Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments ​ Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service, front desk service, or other related fields Must possess the ability to work all shifts as required. Strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Occasionally the employee may have to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds. Company Description The Comfort Inn Conference Center is a full-service hotel of 154 guest rooms nestled on top of a hill. We have both a restaurant (Inndigo Blue) and banquet facilities (Seasons Event Center) on site. Hosting many types of events - birthday parties, celebrations of life, baby showers, weddings, murder mystery dinners.
