We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Operations Administrator to support the delivery of a high-quality customer experience across our Digital and Telephony teams. You’ll play a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly, owning key admin processes, maintaining accurate records, and supporting compliance within our FCA-regulated environment. Reporting to: Customer Experience & Outcomes Manager Location: Crownhill, Milton Keynes / Hybrid Working (3 days a week in office) Hours: Monday – Friday - 37.5 hours a week. Salary: £competitive Your key responsibilities will include: Provide administrative support to the Customer Service and Collections teams, including managing correspondence and updating customer records. Monitor and respond to shared inboxes and internal queries in a timely and professional manner (basic amendments: change of address, payment dates etc). Assist with the processing and allocation of payments, refunds, and direct debits. Maintain accurate customer account information across relevant systems, ensuring adherence to data protection and quality standards. Support the onboarding and ongoing compliance of third-party service providers by ensuring correct documentation and processes are followed. Perform general office administration tasks as required, including scanning, filing, and record-keeping. Ensure that processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements, including FCA, Consumer Duty, and UK GDPR obligations. Post administration: Opening, scanning, processing Manage incoming communications relating to customers that enter or already are within an insolvent position Oversee communications from third party portals relating to customer updates (debt charities, debt management plans, payment offers, weekly payment distributions) Basic exceptions report review (application stage referrals) and decisioning for low risk referrals (I.e. multiple accounts) Manage the credit file amendment requests (across several credit reference agencies). Process some of our digital communications (SMS, WhatsApp) that are more a data entry process – weekend payer updates etc. What we’re looking for: Previous experience in an administrative or operations support role. Experience working in a customer service or collections environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
