As the companys first hire in South Africa , you will play a key role in customer acquisition, brand positioning, and long-term growth, backed by international support and strong prospects for future team expansion. Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 5 years in a senior sales role within the furniture or home décor industry. A strong network of furniture retailers and distributors in South Africa. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent negotiation , presentation , and relationship-building skills. Strong commercial acumen and business development experience. Self-motivated, independent , and comfortable working remotely . Willingness to travel locally and internationally for training and trade shows. Key Responsibilities: Acquire new retail and wholesale clients across South Africa through direct outreach and networking. Promote the brand and full product range to local and regional distributors. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to after-sales support. Negotiate trade terms and ensure sustainable, profitable growth. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and act as their local point of contact. Collaborate with international teams in operations, product, and supply chain. Represent the brand at trade shows, exhibitions , and client meetings. Lay the foundation for future team growth and regional expansion.
