Sr. UX/UI Designer

The CompanyOur client based in downtown Toronto is looking for a Sr. UX/UI Designer for a 5.5 month contract through to December 2025. This is a hybrid opportunity, working in office 3 days per week - candidates can be based in the Toronto or Montreal office.The PositionThe Sr. UX/UI Designer will be working on live chat feature improvements across web and mobile platforms. You'll play a key role in shaping how users interact with chatbot features, from natural conversation flows to intuitive UI components. Key Responsibilities:Collaborate within a multidisciplinary Agile team to design user-centered business applications.Conduct deep ethnographic studies, user research, interviews, and usability testing to extract actionable insights.Partner closely with business stakeholders to develop comprehensive user journeys, storyboards, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and final solutions.Facilitate and lead engaging Design Thinking workshops to drive the ideation process.Advocate for user needs and foster a user-first approach within the product team.Deliver high-quality UX and UI designs aligned with project goals and accessibility best practices.Test designs rigorously to ensure usability and inclusive design standards. 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, ideally with a focus on product or SaaS environmentsStrong portfolio demonstrating expertise in mobile and application based UX designsProficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similarExperience in user research and testing methodologies is an assetExperience working closely with cross-functional product development teamsDeep understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standardsRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
