RETAIL SALES & MAIL CLERK (PSE)

As a PSE Mail Processing Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting the operations of the postal service by handling and preparing mail for distribution, managing sorting machines, and maintaining mailroom equipment. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing efficient and accurate mail processing services. Sort and handle incoming and outgoing mail using sorting machines and manual methods. Operate and maintain mail processing equipment efficiently and safely. Assist in preparing mail for dispatch and distribution within set time frames. Ensure all operations adhere to postal regulations and standards. Work collaboratively with other team members to improve mail processing procedures. Record and document package and mail information accurately for tracking purposes. Proficiency in operating mail sorting and processing equipment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling mail. Basic computer skills for recording and tracking mail information. Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
