SmartShield Homes has an immediate opening for a Smart Home and Security Specialist in our Hillsborough / Pasco County division. Work with leading-edge brands such as Control4, Lutron, Sony, Alarm.com and B & W. Responsibilities : Knowledge of low voltage wiring and trim Follow wiring prints or diagrams Install and activate residential and light commercial wireless security systems and smart home products Offer for sale additional products and services to homeowner Properly demonstrate the system to a client and obtain sign-off for training and/or service completion Installation of speakers, cameras, NVRs, TVs, and Wireless Audio systems (training provided) Provide prompt, courteous, and excellent customer service Attention to project timeline and scheduling impact Requirements : High School Diploma or GED FASA/BASA Certification a plus Problem and troubleshooting skills Positive and professional attitude with a focus on quality and team success Availability for on-call/after-hours support (compensated accordingly) Applicant must have a valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a drug/alcohol screening background check We are looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture and are tenacious about achieving results This position is located in our Hillsborough, Pasco County division.
