Warehouse Manager

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. Your role will involve initiating, coordinating, and enforcing optimal operational policies and procedures, as well as preparing reports and statistics regularly such as IN/OUT status reports and dead stock reports. Your primary duties will include overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. You will need to ensure that productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. Strategic management of the warehouse in compliance with company policies and vision will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations. Setting up layout and ensuring efficient space utilization, adhering to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements, and maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security are crucial tasks that you will need to manage. Other responsibilities include managing stock control and reconciling with the data storage system, preparing an annual budget, planning work rotas, assigning tasks appropriately, and appraising results. Recruitment, selection, orientation, coaching, and motivation of employees will also fall under your purview.
