We transform everyday rooftops into vibrant cultural spaces where people gather to escape the ordinary and soak in unforgettable experiences. This summer, were bringing the magic to Kansas City and were looking for a talented mixologist to help us craft unforgettable nights from the very start. The Role: We are seeking a creative, trend-savvy Bar Manager/Mixologist to launch and operate our new rooftop bar. This is a unique opportunity to craft an exciting beverage program from the ground up one that delights our guests, complements the Rooftop Cinema Club brand, and enhances our rooftop movie-going experience. Youll work independently and collaboratively to ensure bar operations run smoothly and consistently across all service periods. Key Responsibilities: Develop and curate a seasonal cocktail and beverage menu aligned with brand identity and current mixology trends Execute high-quality beverage service for all guests in a fast-paced, high-volume rooftop environment Operate and manage the full bar setup and breakdown daily Order, manage, and rotate inventory; track usage and control waste Ensure compliance with all alcohol service and health and safety regulations Deliver warm, enthusiastic, and engaging guest service that enhances the overall rooftop cinema experience Work with the venue manager and marketing team to promote signature drinks and special offerings Provide training and guidance to support staff as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar area at all times Qualifications: 5 years of bartending or mixology experience in a high-volume, trend-forward bar or hospitality setting Strong understanding of spirits, cocktails, and bar operations Passion for mixology, creativity, and innovation in beverage development Strong organizational and self-management skills Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be 21 and possess or obtain relevant alcohol service certifications required by Missouri What We Offer: A creative and collaborative atmosphere on a rooftop under the stars A chance to influence and shape a new bar concept from the ground up A supportive team and fun, cinematic environment Competitive hourly pay tips Opportunities for growth within Rooftop Cinema Club
