Plant Controller Role The transfer of manufacturing of LX Zs and VNX from Tewksbury to Singapore has created a need for a dedicated plant controller to manage finance-related activities for the plant, including: Reporting requirements (Pulse, R&O, Forecasting, Budgeting) – Plant operational results, Inventory management, and stock take SOX control and audit activities Cost control and proper MOH/FOH calculations Collaborating with plant management to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, financial modeling of projects, and ensuring policy compliance NWC tracking of inventory levels Managing price inflation pressures and incorporating them into standard cost design Evaluating plant transactions according to IFRS and GAAP standards Supporting internal and external audits Analyzing production costs, material consumption, freight costs, and inventory valuation, including obsolescence monitoring Supporting Regional management in evaluating Capital Expenditure requests with financial metrics and business cases The upcoming refurbishment contract with Iontech/Samsung will introduce financial complexities, requiring proper contract management, financial modeling to project revenue and margins, and tracking of margins over time. The plant controller also provides support for FP&A activities for APAC AFS (including V_V), such as: EDI Ionpure SIOP process ISC KPIs tracking and measurement Actual costs vs STD cost tracking for high-volume finished goods Inventory management Join the global Xylem team to be part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and reuse.
