Van Drivers Wanted £12.61 per hour Swindon Shifts start between 6:00am 8:00am, Monday to Friday Cotswold Talent Solutions are recruiting Van Drivers on behalf of our client based in Swindon. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently from the warehouse to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, effective communication abilities, and a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance. The Van Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This is a temporary opportunity with the potential for permanent employment after a successful trial period. The Role: Operate a van or flatbed vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials, maintaining proper handling procedures. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and returns, ensuring compliance with company policies. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, promoting safety at all times. Loads vary daily including furniture, tyres, and other goods Start times between 6:00am and 8:00am Monday to Friday Based in Swindon Pay & Perks: £12.21 per hour Weekly pay Supportive team environment Modern vehicles and great facilities Rate not age-dependent What Were Looking For: Van driving experience preferred A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to safety standards. Flexibility in working hours may be required based on delivery schedules.
