Job Description Job Description Duties and responsibilities: -perform a variety of maintenance work in the building, including but not limited to: -plumbing (unclogging toilets, tubs, sinks, leaking fixtures, changing faucets) -painting & plastering -minor electrical (changing outlets, light fixtures) -other; changing locks, fixing cabinets, door knobs, etc. -maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of building; including but not limited to sweeping interior and exterior of building, mopping interior of building, stripping and waxing floors, vacuuming, cleaning windows, walls, etc. -maintain trash and recycling, prepare for DSNY pickup on appropriate days. -snow removal when necessary Must have relevant maintenance & security experience, and be able to: -speak English and/or Spanish -have good communication skills; both written and verbal -lift atleast 50 pounds -use basic power tools -strong time management skills and attention to detail *valid drivers license is a plus.
