Job Description Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a results-driven Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The ideal candidate will oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities. Success in this role will be based on the growth of existing accounts and the ability to identify and establish new opportunities. Duties and Responsibilities: Learn and recognize triggers based on customer behavior, engaging with customers who request to terminate or downgrade service. Exceed sales benchmarks as established by the Director of Business Development. Serve as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to assigned accounts. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Oversee customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit. Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives. Clearly communicate the progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities. Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed. Work in a team environment with sales, engineering, and network teams to provide solutions and meet customer needs and expectations. Learn and understand company products and services to provide a consultative sales approach for customers. Develop customer expectations of services, products, price structures, installation, and scheduling, and continue to manage customer expectations long-term. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related fields. Excellent communication skills. Ability to build rapport with clients. Deadline and detail-oriented. Familiarity with CRM platforms. Proficiency in PC operations and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
