Job Description Job Description Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist I to support our client’s medical facility based in Nashville, TN 37206 This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Location: Nashville, TN 37206 Schedule: Mondays & Tuesdays - 10A- 7:30P Wednesdays & Thursdays - 8A-5:30P Fridays 8A-3P Pay Range: $18-$19The offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume Duration - 03 months with possible extension Responsibilities: Perform blood draws and collect specimens (blood, urine, fecal) as required. Explain specimen collection process to patients clearly and courteously. Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes for accuracy. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as needed. Review and confirm physician orders and test requisitions. Ensure 100% accuracy when checking specimen labels and requisitions. Update patient information in the system. Record maintenance and decontamination activities. Store specimens according to required conditions and temperature. Package specimens for transport to the lab. Follow infection control and safety protocols. Qualifications: THREE years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience. *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
