Wood Shop Machine Operator 2nd Shift

The Wood Shop Machine operator is responsible for several duties at Jahabow, including maintaining knowledge of Wood Cutting tools, ability to accurately follow/read measurements, Powder coating/staining capabilities. Set up and operate machines for cutting wood, building wood units. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures machine function and output is according to specifications. Follow safety guidelines and enforce compliance within department Responsible for producing good QC approved parts Organize and keep work area clean REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent 4 years of relevant experience Able to lift to 20 to 35 lbs. Walking/standing for most hours of workday. Ability to use tools to assemble items REQUIRED SKILLS Familiar with use of hand tools-table saw, drills, sanders, dust collectors, chop saw Required to Pass a tape measure test Ability to direct the work of others.
