The Role As a Groundworks Estimator , you’ll be responsible for managing the tendering process from start to finish, including: Preparing and submitting competitive tenders for groundworks and civil engineering projects Reviewing site investigation reports and assessing temporary works requirements Performing accurate take-offs and cost breakdowns Liaising with clients to clarify project scope and technical details Working closely with construction and project teams to ensure smooth handover and project success This is a hands-on role where your input will directly impact commercial success and project delivery. About You We’re looking for someone who brings one of the following: 3 years’ estimating experience , OR 5 years’ site-based experience (as a Site Engineer or Site Manager in civils/groundworks) You’ll also have: A strong grasp of construction methods and the ability to interpret drawings and specs Solid communication and organisation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with estimating software and AutoCAD is a bonus A safety-first mindset and proactive approach to challenges What’s in It for You?
