Forklift Driver / Storesperson

We are currently recruiting for an experienced forklift driver to join our client, near Kilmarnock. This is a long term, permanent role for a candidate who has a current, in date counterbalance licence and competent driving skills gained from experience in a similar environment. Responsibilities / Duties Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated areas Transporting both boxes and pallets around yard. Booking in stock Checking stock coming into warehouse. Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company Health and Safety requirements. General warehouse duties, as required. Experience / Skills Current, valid counterbalance forklift licence essential Minimum 2 years driving experience Excellent organisational skills Ability to work well under pressure Experience of using computer stock control systems would be advantage but is not essential. The position requires an ability to work under minimal supervision along with a high level of motivation. Weekly hours are Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4.45pm and Friday, 8am - 12.45pm.
