OUP, the leading global ELT publisher, is seeking a dynamic Assessment Lead to manage the expansion of our Assessment portfolio . This role is central to our mission of delivering high-quality educational solutions to English Language Teaching (ELT) customers. As an Assessment Lead you will: Design and execute sales and marketing strategies aligned with OUP’s goals to grow market share and exceed revenue targets. Identify and develop high-potential business opportunities, building a robust pipeline and closing strategic and impactful deals. Cultivate long-term relationships with strategic accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-lasting relationships. Deliver compelling product presentations and onboarding sessions for new clients and Approved Test Centres (ATCs). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of commercial plans and customer success. Monitor and report on performance metrics using Salesforce, providing insights to take and support business decisions. Stay informed and report on market trends and customer needs to propose integrated solutions across OUP’s full portfolio. Liaise with key local and global stakeholders to ensure pre, while and post sales services are provided according to both customer expectations and OUP standards Research and identify new business opportunities in new segments and/or customers, considering the fullest extent of OUP’s portfolio. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, upholding OUP’s code of conduct. Represent Oxford University Press in Regional and National events in Brazil as participant or Speaker. About the candidate The successful candidate will be highly motivated, an enthusiastic team player, and able to demonstrate relevant experience, preferably gained within a sales, business development and strategic account management environments. Key qualifications and skills include: Essential: University degree. Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development or Sales Management. Experience with ELT international exams sales and administration. Proven track record of delivering results and working collaboratively. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Strong organizational and customer service capabilities. Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). Effective analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills. Proactive and independent work style. English proficiency at B2 level or higher. Desirable: Experience with educational platforms (LMS). Technological fluency and digital skills. Knowledge of the educational publishing industry. Familiarity with the ELT market in Brazil.
