Job Description Job Description Job Duties and Responsibilities Greet patients and answer telephones Verify insurance and schedule appointments Confirm patient appointments Check-in and check-out patients Collect patient charges Pre-authorize insurance for patient referrals Check inbox for incoming specialist reports, refills, and lab reportsflag to appropriate parties Manage referrals to specialists and obtain medications Complete insurance companies’ annual reports Understand and maintain HIPAA regulations Support office with administrative and routine tasks Skills and Qualifications REQUIREMENT: Fluent in both English AND Vietnamese Interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Flexibility and attention to detail, efficient problem solver Knowledge of medical language and health insurance plans High school diploma or GED required. MA either by education or experience preferred. Experience with MS Office software Knowledge of medical billing is a PLUS Full time, part time, $18-29/hour. Permanent full-time employees: Vacation and holiday pay. 401K. Partial medical reimbursement and bonuses.
