Job Description Job Description CareStaf is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Supervisor / Manager with a background in home health & private duty care to join our team in Kansas City, Kansas / Missouri. Position : Clinical Nurse Supervisor / Manager - Registered Nurse (RN) In-Home Health / Private Duty Nursing Location : Kansas City, KS or Kansas City, MO (Must be able to reliably travel within the greater Kansas City area) Job Type : Full-time / Part-time, depending on applicant availability Compensation : $70k – $80k, annually, for full-time $34 – $40, per hour, for part-time About Us : CareStaf is committed to delivering exceptional home health and private duty care that puts patients and families first. Responsibilities : Provide clinical supervision, oversight, and mentorship to field nurses (RNs and LPNs) delivering home health or private duty services. Maintain documentation and communicate any discrepancies found during clinical assessments Complete clinical unit assessment calls with clients and attend new client visits Provide clinical support during the new client implementation process gathering clinical unit descriptions and other pertinent information which will allow for a successful candidate’s placement Help develop, track, and analyze clinical quality standards Identify clinical quality trends for facilities, agencies, and HCPs Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patient needs and develop or revise care plans accordingly. Ensure clinical documentation meets federal, state, and agency guidelines and standards. Conduct regular field visits to evaluate the quality of care being provided and provide direct support to clinical teams. Serve as a liaison between families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care. Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and accrediting body standards. Address clinical concerns or incidents with professionalism and urgency. Educate staff on best practices, changes in protocols, and ongoing quality initiatives. Qualifications : To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements: Familiarity with using CRM, calendars, and Microsoft office products. Registered nurse in good standing with MO, and KS. Strong writing, and English-speaking skills to effectively communicate and manage difficult client and temporary associate situations; Responds promptly to temporary associate, applicant, divisional staff, and client needs. 3 years prior Industry Experience in clinical care role. Prior experience managing medical records per physician and Medicaid standards. Strong clinical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to various patient needs. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to excel in the fast-paced environment.
