Quantity Surveyor – West Midlands Specialist Cost Consultancy | Industrial & Retail Projects | £50K In partnership with GEDON Executive GEDON Executive is proud to be working with a small, highly regarded Cost Consultancy based in the West Midlands , supporting their search for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This firm is known for its hands-on, personal approach and long-term relationships with repeat clients across the industrial, logistics, warehousing, and retail sectors . About the Role You’ll take ownership of a range of new-build and refurbishment schemes from early-stage cost planning through to final account. With a tight-knit team and a strong pipeline of work, this is an ideal opportunity for a QS who enjoys variety, autonomy, and direct client engagement. Key Responsibilities Provide full pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services Prepare cost plans, estimates, tender documents, and valuations Manage budgets, variations, and change control throughout project lifecycle Conduct site visits and liaise closely with contractors and project teams Deliver high-quality commercial advice to ensure best value for clients Requirements 4 years’ experience in a consultancy or client-side QS role Strong understanding of cost management in the industrial or retail sector Comfortable working across multiple projects at different stages Excellent written and verbal communication skills Based in or around the West Midlands What’s on Offer Competitive salary starting from £50K, depending on experience Opportunity to work on diverse and fast-paced industrial projects Clear route to Senior QS and beyond as the business continues to grow Direct client interaction and a high degree of responsibility from day one Supportive, down-to-earth team culture with flexible working options Apply Now If you're a motivated Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a more client-facing and autonomous role, we’d love to hear from you.
