Job Description
Oak & Noble Developments is looking for a Site Manager to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day Residential Construction Site Management; primarily responsible for the effective and efficient completion of a residential construction project. Responsibilities Collaborate and direct field operations for projects from conception to completion. Collaborate construction schedules to meet contractual obligations. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and labour. Review the project plans and specifications and comment on schedule, constructability, possible cost savings measures, and potential construction problems. Inform the Project Manager of any errors, discrepancies or omissions contained in the Project documents. Oversee all onsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. Coordinate all field personnel as required to meet project budgets and schedules and manage all field staffing requirements including all sub-contractors and suppliers. Select tools, materials, and equipment and track inventory. Coordinate all required testing and inspections. Prepare weekly internal and external reports pertaining to job status. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve emerging issues. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. Project site safety and management and collaboration with all third party and in-house resources. Attend bi-weekly construction meetings with all supervisors to ensure consistency across all projects. Qualifications Post-Secondary technical training i.e.: Civil Tech, Engineering, etc. or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years supervisory experience. Ability to form strong working relationships with diverse groups of people, including company employees at all levels, clients, and other outside professionals. Demonstrated analytical and general business mathematical skills (able to prepare and understand budget reports). Comprehensive knowledge of the Residential and/or Multi-Family construction industry and practices. Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Solid understanding of applicable regulations, especially in occupational health and safety. Proven ability to successfully manage heavy workloads with multiple priorities. Ability to work with a high degree of independence and minimal supervision. Proficient in Microsoft Office products and Teams.
