As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing models to solve business problems, communicating with the technical team, and ensuring that deliverables meet business expectations. You will also work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data analytics initiatives. Main Accountabilities Design, develop, test, and implement complex models and algorithms that drive analytical solutions across the organization. Provide technical support to data scientists across multiple squads. Collaborate with business analysts to understand business problems and implement scalable solutions. Define development standards and solution approaches. Design and structure reusable codebases. Coordinate with MIS, Digital Specialists, and Data Engineers to deliver comprehensive analytical solutions. Communicate the design, functioning, and outputs of analytical models and solutions. Ensure timely analysis and testing for ongoing maintenance of solutions. Present data insights to stakeholders. Knowledge and Technical Competencies Make decisions aligned with Bunge’s strategy, business needs, and financial goals, fostering innovation. Build strong relationships, influence others effectively, and develop talent. Develop data-driven strategies aligned with company priorities and communicate clearly to energize teams. Proficient in data science, machine learning, programming languages like Python or R, SQL, data analysis, and teamwork. Assist in structuring business problems and hypotheses for advanced analytics, including machine learning and optimization. Help business units understand data science concepts for better communication and implementation. Education/Experience Advanced knowledge in math, analytics, and computer science, with expertise in machine learning, statistical models, and data science programming. Avoid common pitfalls, write reusable and resilient code, build data pipelines in cloud environments, and ensure data quality. Mentor junior staff and communicate effectively with stakeholders and management. Demonstrate teamwork and innovative thinking.
