Job Description Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. The position is responsible for the profitable growth of the commercial business via customer retention and growth. The role partners with the GM to manage Team Members and requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts. The ability to source from various channels including special orders, FDO, and second sources is essential. The role also involves directing drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery. This is a full-time position. Primary Responsibilities Maintain commercial customer relationships Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives Provide day-to-day supervisory support for Team Members Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards are met Maintain commercial stocking programs Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers Secondary Responsibilities Maintain core bank and commercial returns Manage commercial credit accounts Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage Success Factors Friendly communication skills Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently Safety knowledge and skills Proficiency with inventory systems and store equipment Parts and automotive system knowledge Operating POS and Parts lookup systems ASE P2 certification or equivalent Strong solution, project, and product recommendation skills Ability to source from multiple channels Advanced selling skills for commercial customers Multi-tasking and organizational skills Effective communication, listening, and problem-solving skills Essential Job Skills for Success as a Commercial Parts Pro Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic abilities English proficiency; Spanish is a plus Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs, and procedures Effective written and oral communication skills Completion of Parts Knowledge Assessment Basic math skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational skills Understanding of commercial profitability concepts Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed Prior Experience Minimum of 3 years of automotive parts experience preferred, with proven sales ability and team leadership experience. Education High school diploma or GED required. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations ASE certification preferred but not required. Physical Demands Primarily walking or standing; ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally; ability to perform physical tasks as described. Work Environment Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor exposure and potential exposure to various hazards. Moderate noise level.
