Retail Store Manager - Luxury Luggage R23000 plus commission Exclusive luxury luggage store seeks store manager with min of 5 years store management experience within the LUXURY RETAIL SECTOR. Sales & Profitability Drive and achieve store sales targets and profitability. Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to maximize revenue. Analyze sales reports and identify trends to optimize performance. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise store staff. Conduct performance appraisals and manage staff schedules. Motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service and meet targets. Customer Service Excellence Ensure a high standard of customer service is consistently maintained. Resolve customer complaints and queries promptly and professionally. Promote customer loyalty programs and build lasting client relationships. Store Operations & Visual Merchandising Oversee daily operations including opening and closing procedures. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards. Ensure stock levels are adequate and displays are attractive and up-to-date. Inventory Management Manage stock control, conduct regular stocktakes, and minimize shrinkage. Oversee receiving, tagging, and storing of merchandise. Coordinate with suppliers and manage inventory replenishment. Administrative & Financial Controls Handle cash, banking, and petty cash procedures accurately. Prepare and submit reports on sales, budgets, and staff performance. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legislation. Marketing & Promotions Implement in-store marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions. Work with head office or marketing teams to enhance brand awareness locally. Organize local events or partnerships to increase foot traffic and sales. Compliance & Health and Safety Ensure the store complies with health and safety regulations.
