Job Title: Transport Controller Report to: Operations Seniority Level: Mid Career (2 - 4 yrs exp) Region: Gauteng Location: JHB - Eastern Suburbs Type: Temp Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for carrying out Transport Planning, Scheduling, and Operations Administrative duties Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills Time management and ability to handle uncomfortable conversations Proactive, organized, and able to multitask under pressure Computer skills including proficiency in transport systems and MS Office Participative team player with professional appearance Uploading of POD's and update of TMS records Delivery of a weekly Transport scorecard Sectors: Logistics, Warehouse & Freight Functions: Fleet Controller Qualification Types: Diplomas Qualifications: National Diploma: Logistics Skills: (Minimum necessary to perform job) Matric Advantageous: 3-year Diploma in Road Transport/ BCom Degree Logistics/NQF7 Competence in Microsoft Office products and Transport Management Prior experience with Transport Management Systems and operational management Understanding of basic transport and operational principles Ability to Plan & Schedule Transport Requirements Excellent attention to detail and client relationships
