Sales Director - EMEA & APAC – Engineering Solutions, Pharmaceutical Sector We are supporting the recruitment for a global leader, headquartered in Italy, in integrated solutions for the pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences industries . With a strong focus on innovation and operational excellence, the company delivers advanced engineering systems and services that support the full drug development and manufacturing lifecycle. As part of the company’s continued growth, we are looking for a Sales Director – EMEA & APAC to lead the commercial strategy and business development efforts across these key regions. Key Accountabilities / Decisions Area Commercial And Business Development Strategy Define and implement commercial strategies and go-to-market plans tailored to EMEA and APAC. Identify market trends, business opportunities, and customer needs to drive growth and profitability. Translate strategic goals into operational targets and manage the regional commercial budget. Customer Business Development Lead business development activities and ensure effective account planning and execution. Build and nurture long-term partnerships with key customers and stakeholders. Collaborate with Global Key Account Management to align regional and global customer strategies. Sales Operations Management Oversee regional sales operations, ensuring high levels of customer service and technical support. Coordinate with corporate teams (Product Management, Proposals, Communications) to deliver best-in-class customer experiences. Ensure seamless integration of sales and operations planning processes. Reporting And Monitoring Analyze market data and trends to identify and monitor commercial opportunities. Track KPIs and business performance, implementing corrective actions when needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM and other corporate systems. Budget Management Manage area budgets in line with business objectives. People Management Lead, coach, and develop the regional commercial team. Promote engagement, talent development, and performance. Relationship Management Foster internal and external partnerships. Ensure alignment with corporate policies and strategic goals. Act as a customer advocate within the organization. Requirements At least 10 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in commercial leadership roles within international engineering or industrial sectors, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry. Strong knowledge of EMEA and/or APAC markets. Strategic mindset with strong leadership and analytical skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Willingness to travel internationally (60%). Location: Europe Rif; MCP 55676
