Based at the Group Headquarters in Montechiarugolo (Parma), the Tomato Procurement Specialist will report to the Tomato Procurement Manager and join the Agriculture team, which is responsible for consolidating and continuously improving Mutti’s agro-industrial supply chain model. This position has been created as part of the ongoing development and structuring of the function. The successful candidate will support the development of Group projects in line with the highest quality standards and corporate objectives. Main Responsibilities: Plan and procure tomatoes, managing the logistics from field to plant. Support the Tomato Procurement Manager in overseeing the agricultural supply chain to ensure an efficient and sustainable raw material flow. Collaborate with farmers and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality, quantity, and company standards. Manage documentation and reporting related to procurement and product traceability. Coordinate with internal teams to foster strong collaboration between agriculture and production departments. Promote and support the development of the company’s key innovation projects. What we are looking for: University degree in Agriculture or a related field. In-depth knowledge of the agricultural sector, with a focus on industrial tomato cultivation. Understanding of the tomato supply chain, seasonal variability, and quality grading standards. Experience in developing agronomic tools and methodologies. Willingness to travel across Northern Italy. Strong organizational and planning skills. Team-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills. Proficiency in IT tools; SAP knowledge is essential. Good command of the English language. Residency near the company site is required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. What you will need: Strong analytical abilities: capacity to analyze, process, and interpret data to inform decision-making. Autonomy: capable of independently assessing situations and setting priorities. Proactivity: able to evaluate the status quo and suggest innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
