About the role The challenge of our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is to help Nubank make better financial decisions. Our mission is to understand the company’s performance from a financial perspective by analyzing past results and creating projections for the future. Broadly speaking, our team is divided into FP&A Horizontals, FP&A Markets, FP&A Global Products, FP&A Efficiency, and Procurement. Key Responsibilities: • Analyzing, explaining, and forecasting the financial results of the Credit Card Business Unit; • Improving FP&A processes to generate insights and clarity in income statements, always thinking in a scalable way with reliable data; • Understanding and analyzing the impacts of product-related decisions on the results of the Business Unit (BU); • Automating reports by connecting them with databases from different sources; • Building, updating, and reviewing financial models and simulators; • Creating and presenting executive materials with financial results to the Business Unit and Leadership team. We are looking for someone who: • Has experience in financial analysis (P&L, Balance Sheet), credit analysis, or related areas; • Has strong analytical skills to manage and evaluate complex data; • Possesses strong communication skills to proactively engage with different business partners and stakeholders (Product, Finance, Markets); • Has advanced knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets; • Is fluent in English; • Programming knowledge (Scala, SQL, and Python) is a plus.
