Serves as an expert resource supporting one or more areas, processes, or technologies. Leads 1 to many, independent, medium to large (Application Development - $2.5MM to $5MM in Investment / Infrastructure - $10MM to $25MM in Investment), mid-level to high complexity initiatives across the portfolio or enterprise. Sets the project strategy and works with leaders within the business in the execution of the project. Responsible for capital and expense project budget. Assist the business in capital and expense planning for projects as well. Plan and prioritize work, resources, deliverables, and schedules within the boundaries of the project, including parallel work streams. Reviews project team deliverables to ensure quality and adherence to standards / requirements. Manages relationships across all JJT, legal, finance, and the impacted Business areas, etc. Identifies and drives continual process improvements in the organization. Works effectively as part of a team as a representative of the APPMO. Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities 30% Project Execution - Manage project from Initiation through Closure. Overall responsibility for planning and execution, including success criteria, change management, governance, organization structure including key vendors, and identifying managing internal/external dependencies. Define project budget and perform financial management. Identify component project work streams and their respective scope, budget, major milestones, and interdependencies. Partner with Sourcing when appropriate to identify and implement appropriate contractual vehicles with product and service providers to provide features and capabilities required to achieve program/project scope. 25% Cross Functional Communications - Accountable for project cross-functional communication and project team meeting facilitation and managing relationship with the Sponsor or Business Case owner including regular reviews. Ensures Extended Team members are engaged at appropriate times and levels during execution. Conduct formal reviews (Stage Gates, Vesting Points, etc.) with key stakeholders as needed throughout project execution to ensure alignment at all organizational levels. 15% Facilitates Risk Management processes including identification, assessment of likelihood and impact, across the project to develop a risk register that is actively managed throughout project execution. Employs a Servant Leader mindset with hyper focus on block identification and removal to allow for the team to continue forward progress and momentum toward value delivery. 10% Facilitates Change Management process across the project when change is potentially introduced that would impact agreed upon baselines of Scope, Schedule or Budget. 10% Execute regular Status Reporting for the project. Compile overall status via indicators and measurements against established baselines for Scope, Schedule and Budget, while highlighting components of Change and Risk. 10% Employ mindset of process improvement throughout execution of regular lessons learned or retrospective activities not only at project completion, but at appropriate points along the way in execution to allow for improvements to be made as soon as possible. Includes identification of improvement areas, then implementation of action plans to apply process improvements. Required Minimum Education : Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Required Years of Related Experience: Minimum 8 years’ experience delivering in highly complex and matrixed environments Proven project leadership in highly matrixed, service-oriented and/or technical industries Demonstrated success identifying and partnering with business and technology experts to successfully implement and manage effective project management tools Demonstrated understanding of and experience with project management methodologies, including but not limited to iterative methodologies such as Agile, as well as more traditional Waterfall processes Experience with all aspects of SDLC from definition to execution, with the ability to partner to ensure appropriate process and methodology that enables seamless delivery Strong facilitation skills and ability to work across organizations and unite diverse individuals with disparate goals and enable productive discussion and outcomes Influencer with the ability to successfully navigate change and drive success across both direct and matrixed situations Strong planning and prioritization skills; excellent oral and written communication skills Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Experience with well-established portfolio and project management tools, including but not limited to Task & Scheduling (JIRA, MS Project), Collaboration (SharePoint, MS Teams) required.
