Leanbio is a leading Biopharmaceutical CDMO offering end-to-end services in the field of recombinant proteins, mRNA and pDNA. With over a decade of expertise, we have a proven track record in development and manufacturing of therapeutic molecules such as antibodies, Fab fragments, ADCs, enzymes, complex proteins, mRNA and pDNA. Leanbio has already worked with over 100 candidates over these years, some already in late clinical stages. Leanbio is expanding its development and manufacturing capabilities with a new GMP site in Barcelona with over 4,000 sqm. and three manufacturing areas: one for mammalian expression systems up to 2000L, another for microbial and yeast up to 1000L, and a third are for mRNA up to 50L. The new facility includes state-of-the-art development laboratories, oustanding Quality control rooms and warehouse. We are looking for a new person to join the team as a Marketing Manager in our brand new facilities in Sant Quirze del Vallès: MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Marketing strategy development and execution. Lead generation and campaign management (digital, events, etc). Measure ROI and performance of all marketing activities using KPIs and analytics. Content Creation & Brand Messaging. Create compelling, scientifically accurate content for web, social media, brochures, whitepapers, case studies, and videos. Maintain brand consistency across all platforms and communications. Digital Marketing & Website Management. Plan and manage company participation in events and fairs. Coordinate logistics, branding, promotional material, and follow-up activities with BD. Fairs preparation, assistance and follow-up. Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor positioning in the DS/CDMO space. Provide insights and strategic recommendations to BD and leadership teams. Business Development Support: develop marketing collateral (presentations, flyers, technical overviews) for the BD team. Budget & Vendor Management: Manage the marketing budget, external agencies, designers, and other vendors to deliver cost-effective campaigns. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (BD, Technical, PM, Regulatory) to ensure accurate, aligned messaging. Act as the marketing voice within cross-functional planning and client targeting. Collaborate on RFP responses and client-specific materials, if needed. Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, BD Director, sponsors, and other key stakeholders. Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication. Continue professional development in order to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods and best practices. Support in Business Plans. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences or equivalent work experience. MBA or master’s in marketing, Life Sciences, or Business is a plus. 5 years of marketing experience for complex services. At least 2 years in CDMO, pharma, or biotech industry. 5 years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment. 3 years of previous experience with Market research and analysis, Digital Marketing (SEO, social media, content marketing, etc), and Data-Driven Decisions to measure ROI and performance. Technical skills are also desirable. It will be highly desirable Industry-Specific Knowledge and deep understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain, regulatory environment (e.g., FDA, EMA), and B2B marketing dynamics in a CDMO setting. Ability to grasp and communicate technical aspects of drug development, manufacturing, and analytical services. High English level to understand complex technical and business discussions (written and spoken), communicate fluently and effectively in professional settings. Write clear, well-structured messages, communications, and emails. Present ideas for marketing activities and adapt the communication style for different audiences (scientific, commercial, regulatory). Intermediate level of proficiency with CRMs (PipeDrive, Salesforce, etc), MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and / or Senior Leadership. Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs. Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective. Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment. Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities.
