Software Engineer – Data & AI Platform Location: Spain | Hybrid (2 days/month in Barcelona city center) Contract: Permanent | End Client: Large Retail Company Language: English C1 Join a leading retail company and shape the future of Data & AI infrastructure in a cloud-native environment! What you’ll do: -Build and evolve a sovereign Data & AI platform in the cloud -Design system architecture and integrate relevant open-source projects -Develop REST APIs for lifecycle control of cloud services -Create Kubernetes operators to automate service deployment and scaling -Take full ownership within an agile product team (You Build It – You Run It!) -Diagnose and resolve complex issues with sustainable, hands-on solutions What we’re looking for: -Passion for cutting-edge tech in BI, AI, and cloud environments -Solid experience with software development & Kubernetes -Proficient in Golang -Familiar with tools like Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Dremio -Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn & share knowledge -English proficiency at C1 level or higher Work with a forward-thinking team in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.
