About the Job We are seeking a skilled System Integration Tester to join our project team, focusing on validating REST API integrations between an ERP system and external courier services , as well as a Tablet app integrating to ERP system via Sharepoint . The ideal candidate will ensure seamless data exchange, system interoperability, and reliability by designing, executing, and automating integration tests. The Role will consist of 2 distinct Phases – and both will come within the remit of the successful candidate: 1. Automation System Integration Test Phase. 2. UAT Test Co-ordination Phase. Key Responsibilities 1. Test Planning & Strategy Develop and maintain integration test plans covering API interactions between ERP and courier systems. Define test scenarios for end-to-end data flow validation (orders, tracking, status updates). Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and third-party vendors to understand integration requirements. 2. API Testing & Validation Perform REST API testing Validate request/response payloads , headers, status codes, and error handling. Verify authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API keys, JWT). 3. Data Integrity & System Interoperability Test data synchronization between ERP and courier systems (e.g., order creation, shipment tracking). Identify and troubleshoot data mapping issues 4. Automation & CI/CD Integration Integrate tests into Azure DevOps . Automation scripting (ie. C++) 5. Defect Management & Reporting Log, track, and retest defects using To fit this post, we look after: Required Skills & Experience: 3 years of experience in API or System Integration Testing Solid understanding of REST APIs , HTTP, JSON, and integration patterns Experience with manual testing tools (e.g. Postman, Swagger) Experience with automation scripting (e.g. C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar) Familiarity with Azure DevOps , including pipelines and boards Strong knowledge of ERP systems (any) and data flows Good understanding of data mapping , ETL , or middleware logic Familiarity with CI/CD environments Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Nice to Have: Experience with SharePoint integration Knowledge of logistics, courier, or supply chain systems Familiarity with SQL for data validation Background in UAT coordination or user testing environments What we offer: Way of working: remote Remote position within the EU.
