Fire Door Installer / Fire Door Maintenance

Summary of Role Our client is looking for a highly skilled Fire Door Installer, carrying out fire door maintenance, must live in the Guildford area, you must have own van and tools, be very presentable, very reliable and provide 2 x sources of references. You will be working in the London, Guildford, Aldershot, Woking, Camberley area, and as far as Portsmouth arrears, fuel supplement available, There is a huge opportunity of a permanent position after a 12–16-week contract. A lot of the time you will be carrying out re-active maintenance on fire doors, as well as new installs, must know correct procedures, and have the ability to carry out inspection’s repairs on fire door closures, cutting door blanks, lipping door blanks, intumescent strips, sire stopping ability and proven experience. You will be working in establishments such as, hotels, schools, MOD, hospitals, doctors’ surgeries, office blocks, apartments, office building with the Guildford, London, Portsmouth area, must be presentable. The key activities you will undertake in this role will be, and must have proven experienced in: Re-active maintenance Fire stopper Fire door installations Glazing Install Hinges Latches Locks Overhead door closures Fire door repairs KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Own van and correct tools Reliable Very presentable To work on your own Have a good Character Deal with clients Liaise with management Manage your own diary Prioritise SKILLS REQUIRED Strong background in the fire door sector Strong carpentry skills Customer service Inspections Strong material knowledge QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED CSCS Card Preferred FIRAS Preferred or similar EXPERIENCE 5 Years experience Must live in the Guildford area
