Job Title: Materials Planner Location: Uttoxeter Salary: £18.46 per hour Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Friday: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm Contract Type: 12-month fixed term About the Role: Hunters 4 Staff are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Materials Planner to join our blue-chip client at their premises in Uttoxeter. This 12-month fixed-term contract involves planning and expediting parts to meet market demands while managing a complex supply chain. Key Responsibilities: Ensure continuity of supply of parts for aftermarket operations. Plan and expedite materials from the supply base in line with system requirements. Apply lean inventory management practices. Drive continuous improvement and pro-active supplier reviews. Identify and implement process improvement initiatives. Expedite materials promptly to meet operational needs. The Ideal Candidate: Experience in a similar role is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities. Highly proficient with Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables. Possesses strong organisational skills and thrives under pressure. Has an analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. What We Offer: Competitive hourly pay of £18.46. 33 days annual leave.
