Accounts Payable Clerk

This role involves managing accounts payable processes within a fast-paced retail environment, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. The successful candidate will support the Accounting & Finance department in maintaining smooth financial operations. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly. Prepare and process payment runs in a timely manner. Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with company policies. Assist in responding to supplier queries and maintaining good relationships. Support the Accounting & Finance team with month-end reporting tasks. Collaborate with colleagues to improve accounts payable processes. Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks related to the department as required.Profile A successful AP Clerk should have: Experience in an accounts payable role within a retail setting. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. A keen eye for detail and excellent numerical accuracy. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Confidence in communicating with suppliers and internal teams.Job Offer An hourly rate of £12.60 to £15.40, based on experience.
