Job Description
General Manager – Residential Leasing & Operations Location: London Salary: Up to £55,000 10% bonus Hours: 40 hours per week, site-based A premium BTR scheme in London is looking for an experienced and people-focused General Manager to lead day-to-day operations and deliver an exceptional resident experience. This is a rare opportunity to join a purpose-led Build to Rent operator known for its design-led schemes, strong team culture, and commitment to service excellence. The building offers first-class amenities including co-working spaces, a gym, and landscaped gardens. The successful candidate will bring confident leadership, operational oversight, and a calm, solutions-focused approach to managing people, processes, and performance. Responsibilities: Leading a small on-site team across facilities, maintenance, and customer service Overseeing operations including leasing performance, tenancy processes, and resident satisfaction Ensuring compliance, health & safety, and operational efficiency Managing budgets, site reporting, and contributing to continuous improvement Collaborating with cross-functional support teams Ideal Experience: Residential leadership within Build to Rent, PBSA, or premium rental environments Familiarity with landlord/tenant legislation such as the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 (desirable) Strong understanding of lettings, tenancy operations, and compliance Clear, calm leadership with experience developing team performance Commercially confident with budget management and reporting Great communicator and collaborative team player Package: Up to £55,000 10% bonus Great benefits package If you're an experienced property leader looking for your next step in a values-led BTR environment, we’d love to hear from you.
