Childcare Solicitor Rate: £50-£60 per hour - Negotiable DOE Contract Length: 6-month initial contract Northeast Local Authority Flexible Hybrid Working We are working with a local authority based in the Northeast region who are seeking an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join their team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience covering childcare related matters in a local authority setting. Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice and representation in care proceedings and family law matters. Manage legal queries from the Children and Young People Services Directorate. Conduct research to address more complex legal issues affecting operational matters. Collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance with Law Society, Professional Standards and Lexcel accreditation. Key Requirements Qualified legal professional with a current practising certificate Experienced in children's law, including care proceedings and family law matters. Strong research and legal analysis skills. The ability to provide clear legal advice on complex issues.
