Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time ??? Start Date: ASAP The Opportunity: Branta Recruitment is working on behalf of a respectedFM service provider to recruit a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer. This is a mobile role covering commercial sites across Yorkshire, including schools, hospitals, offices, and retail properties. Youll be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and installation of a wide range of commercial gas appliances and systems. The ideal candidate will be ACS-qualified, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently on a mobile basis. Key Responsibilities: Carry out servicing, fault-finding, and reactive repairs on commercial gas appliances and heating systems Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and statutory compliance checks Install and commission commercial boilers, heaters, and associated plant Work across schools, retail units, office buildings, healthcare, and other commercial settings Complete all job reports, certifications, and safety documentation accurately and promptly Participate in a rota-based call-out system (paid) Requirements: ACS Commercial Gas qualifications, including: COCN1 or CODNCO1 ICPN1, TPCP1A, CIGA1, CDGA1 Minimum of 3 years' experience in a commercial gas engineering role Strong understanding of building services and compliance standards Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills Full UK Driving Licence essential Additional plumbing or HVAC knowledge advantageous Whats on Offer: Competitive basic salary: £40,000 £45,000 Company van, fuel card, uniform, and tools Overtime and on-call opportunities Pension scheme and holiday entitlement Long-term progression and training support Supportive team culture with excellent management Apply online now or contact Astrid Camacho at Branta for more information.
