Procurement Manager Benelux - Telecom

The company operates in over 20 countries worldwide. For the EMEA procurement team, which supports entities in more than 10 countries, they are looking for a Procurement Lead for the Benelux region. Locations: Antwerp - Kempen. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for the implementation of the group-wide procurement strategy to help realize the ambitious future plans. The headquarters is located in Antwerp, which is the preferred location for this role. This role reports to the VP Procurement EMEA and Managing Director. The Procurement Manager will: Lead Procurement in the Benelux: Take ownership of procurement activities, drive savings, optimize inventory , and support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Manage Supplier and Internal Relationships: Build strong ties with local leadership and suppliers, ensuring alignment, delivery quality, and performance monitoring. Drive Strategy and Negotiations: Contribute to EMEA category strategies, lead local negotiations, and unlock strategic supplier partnerships in coordination with Central Procurement. Ensure Operational Excellence: Define and deliver on procurement targets, manage ordering processes, and ensure seamless coordination with sales and project teams. Bridge Local and Central Teams: Act as a connector between Benelux entities and the Central Procurement team, ensuring effective strategy execution and communication. Improve Processes and Tools: Develop and refine procurement policies, processes, and ERP pricing alignment (SAP), driven by continuous improvement and collaboration. Coach, Report, and Optimize: Mentor operational buyers (2 fte), lead procurement meetings, provide data-driven insights, and maintain optimal inventory levels to support business readiness. We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager coming a very hands-on entrepreunial mindset with the capability to implement his/her strategic ideas. Furthermore: Inventory expertise: You need to be on top of this to make sure you find a good balance Experience: Solid track record in strategic/tactical procurement roles, with demonstrated expertise in sourcing, negotiation, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management. Skills: Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication, and proven leadership abilities in cross-functional team management. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English & Dutch is required; proficiency in French is preferred. The Procurement Manager can expect a competitive salary package in line with experience.
