Air Conditioning Engineer Location: Ipswich & Essex Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 (DOE) Overtime Opportunities Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking to join a forward-thinking, people-focused company with a strong industry reputation? Due to continued growth, we're looking to appoint a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join their professional team, working across the Ipswich and Essex areas. What's in it for you? Competitive Salary of £40,000 - £46,000 (dependent on experience) Generous overtime opportunities Fully equipped company vehicle fuel card 24 days annual leave bank holidays (increasing with service) Company phone, tablet, tools & uniform provided Company pension scheme Employee Assistance Programme - including mental health and family support Ongoing in-house training & career progression opportunities Annual performance reviews and access to staff perks and discounts Role Overview: You will report directly to the Operations Manager and be responsible for: Routine maintenance, servicing and fault-finding on AC systems (VRFs, splits, refrigeration) Installation, testing and commissioning of new systems Diagnosing issues, assessing parts needed, and carrying out repairs Ensuring compliance with F-Gas regulations and recording all work via electronic systems Providing technical advice and excellent customer service on-site What We're Looking For: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification AC experience F-Gas qualification (C&G 2079) - Essential NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration - Essential Good knowledge of current F-Gas regulations Confident using digital reporting/compliance systems A positive, self-motivated attitude and professional manner Full UK Driving Licence Clean DBS record Ready to apply: This is an immediate requirement with interview slots available as early as next week.
