Year 2 Teaching Assistant Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham B15 Day Rate: £(Apply online only) Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Start Date: 01/09/2025 Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm We're working with a fantastic primary school in Edgbaston seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This is a brilliant opportunity to support young learners during a key academic year and make a real impact in the classroom. Your Role: Provide tailored support to pupils in a Year 2 class Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons Lead small group interventions in reading, writing and maths Support children's social and emotional development Help with classroom preparation and resourcesWhat We're Looking For: Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally KS1 Confident supporting the Year 2 curriculum and phonics A nurturing, patient approach with a team mindset Reliable, enthusiastic and keen to make a difference A good level of spoken and written EnglishWhy Work with Long Term Futures?
