Computer Science Teacher Location: Rochdale Start Date: September 2025 Hours: 8am - 3pm Monday to Friday Pay: £150 - £200 per day (dependent on experience) Contract: Temporary to Permanenet Are you a passionate and qualified Computer Science Teacher looking for your next role? A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Rochdale are seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a real impact, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Support pupils in developing digital literacy and computer science skills. Plan, mark and assess in line with school and curriculum expectations. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes progress and achievement. Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team and contribute to the school's ethos and values. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience teaching Computing at secondary level. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A current DBS on the update service - or willingness to apply for one. Two recent professional references covering the last 2 years
