CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a team of four engineers delivering high-quality building services maintenance in a corporate, client-facing environment. The successful candidate will have a solid background in electrical building maintenance, ideally with additional mechanical/fabric skills. This role offers long-term development, ongoing training, and the chance to progress within a growing FM company. Key Responsibilities: Perform planned and reactive maintenance on all M&E systems Lighting systems (installation, fault finding, lamping, ballast changes) Emergency lighting tests and compliance BMS monitoring and environmental control support Control panels, motors, pumps, and pressurisation units Basic plumbing tasks (e.g., unblocking toilets) Keep compliance logbooks fully updated Escort and liaise with specialist contractors Proactively identify and resolve building service faults Ensure a safe and compliant working environment at all times Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a client-focused approach Candidate Requirements: Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 or equivalent Must be able to provide proof of trade qualifications Proven experience in commercial building maintenance Multi-skilled across basic mechanical and fabric works Confident, client-facing, and well-presented Proactive with excellent fault-finding abilities Strong understanding of H&S and statutory compliance Flexible for 1-in-4 callout rota What’s On Offer: Up to £47,000 salary 25 days holiday bank holidays Overtime opportunities and call-out pay Season Ticket Loan (after 6 months’ service) Cycle to Work Scheme (post-probation) Rewards Gateway platform access Auto-Enrolment Pension Scheme Private Medical Insurance (includes dental, optical, and audio) Death in Service benefit (2x annual salary) Full training and clear path for career progression Interested?
