Scaffolding Estimator – South East (Kent Area) Permanent | Competitive Salary | Career Development Opportunities An established and growing scaffolding contractor is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Scaffolding Estimator to join its team, supporting projects across the South East. This is a key role for a detail-oriented professional who can assess, price, and support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of scaffolding solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare accurate estimates for scaffolding works, including site assessments, measurements, and material take-offs * Liaise with clients, contractors, and design teams to understand requirements and propose effective solutions * Source and assess supplier quotes to ensure best-value project delivery * Support tender submissions with well-structured documentation and pricing schedules * Maintain awareness of current scaffolding regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices * Work closely with the commercial and operational teams to hand over successful bids smoothly Requirements: * Proven experience as an estimator within the scaffolding industry * Strong technical understanding of scaffolding systems and temporary works * Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail * Familiarity with estimating software and MS Office tools * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package * Career progression with a growing and reputable contractor * Flexible working location with offices commutable from Kent and surrounding areas * Supportive team culture with investment in training and development
