Maintenance Operative – Central London £36,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE) Central London | Medium-Sized Property Maintenance Company Full-Time | Permanent Are you an experienced Maintenance Operative with a solid background in residential fabric maintenance? We're working with a well-established, medium-sized maintenance company based in Central London that's looking for a reliable and skilled operative to join their growing team. The Role: You’ll be responsible for carrying out day-to-day maintenance and repair work across residential properties in Central London. This includes a range of fabric and general building maintenance duties — ensuring properties are kept in top condition and delivering a high standard of service to clients and residents. Responsibilities: Performing planned and reactive fabric maintenance works General repairs across residential properties (e.g., carpentry, plastering, painting/decorating, tiling) Diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues quickly and efficiently Ensuring work is completed to company standards and safety regulations Liaising with tenants, clients, and property managers as required Requirements: Level 2 trade qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, plastering, etc.) Proven experience in residential fabric maintenance Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work Excellent communication and customer service skills Full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential) What’s in it for you: Competitive salary between £36,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience) Regular hours, Monday to Friday Opportunities for further training and development A supportive, team-oriented working environment Travel paid within working zones Build Recruitment Limited acts as an Employment Business for the supply of temporary workers and an Employment Agency in relation to permanent vacancies.
