Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer Location: Yeovil, Taunton, Salisbury, Gillingham, Bournemouth Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Job Type: Permanent Working Area: South West – Dorset, Somerset & Wiltshire Holiday: 26 days annual leave bank holidays We’re hiring an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to support commercial FM contracts across the South West. We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to join our established facilities maintenance team. This mobile role covers a portfolio of commercial sites across Yeovil, Taunton, Salisbury, Gillingham, and Bournemouth, with Yeovil being the ideal home base. Key Responsibilities: * Maintenance, servicing, and fault diagnosis on a range of air conditioning systems * Work on various AC systems including split units, VRVs/VRFs, and DX cooling * Reactive breakdown response and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) * Ensuring compliance with site-specific health & safety procedures * Occasional assistance with general building services tasks Requirements: * FGAS (Category 1) certification – essential * Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience working on commercial AC systems * NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning or equivalent – desirable but not essential * Full UK driving licence * Good fault-finding and maintenance skills * Excellent communication and customer service approach What We Offer: * Competitive salary up to £44,000 per annum * 26 days holiday bank holidays * Company van and fuel card * Tools, uniform, mobile, and ongoing training provided * Long-term, secure work within a respected FM company * Career progression opportunities across a national portfolio If you’re an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer based in the South West and want to join a reputable FM provider with strong contract stability, apply now
