Job Title: History Teacher Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-time – Temp to Perm Salary: £29,344 – £44,919 (depending on experience) About the Role: A well-regarded secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to join their dynamic humanities department. You’ll inspire students to explore the past, think critically, and develop a deep understanding of historical events and their relevance today. Key Responsibilities: Teach History across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is a plus) Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons Promote debate, discussion, and independent inquiry in the classroom Track, assess, and report on student progress Support enrichment activities, school events, and curriculum-related trips Requirements: QTS and a degree in History or a related subject Strong knowledge of the History curriculum and current pedagogical approaches Excellent behaviour management and communication skills A genuine passion for teaching and developing young minds Why Join Us?
