Job Vacancy: Part-Time School Caretaker - SE12 (Lewisham, Secondary School) A secondary school in SE12 - Lewisham is looking to appoint a part-time School Caretaker to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students and staff. Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM School Holidays: As required (occasional/flexible cover) Pay: £14 - £18 per hour (depending on experience) Main Duties: Opening and securing the school premises daily General maintenance and minor repair tasks Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld Keeping outdoor and communal areas clean and tidy Assisting with deliveries and contractor access Person Specification: Previous experience in a caretaking or site management role (desirable) Basic maintenance/DIY skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to undergo a check) This is a great opportunity to join a friendly school community in a vital support role
