Shift Emergency lighting Engineer - FM Service Provider - Commercial Estate - Crawley - £47,000 per annum Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM service provider situated in Crawley. I am currently recruiting for an emergency lighting engineer to be based in a large commercial state. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with C&G / NVQ level 2 & 3 AM2 and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. He or she will be required to carry out emergency lighting works as part of a two-man team across this site. Working with the maintenance team of engineers on site, you will be required have an understanding/hands on experience of the below. In return the company are offering a competitive salary of £47,000, overtime and career progression. Hours of work 2 weeks of days, 1 week of nights Monday - Thursday / Tuesday - Friday on rotation Days and Nights 10 Hour Shift 07:00am to 17:00pm / 21:00 to 07:00 Key Duties: Install, test, and maintain emergency lighting systems across a large commercial site, ensuring full compliance with BS 5266 and site-specific safety requirements. Perform scheduled inspections, fault finding, and repairs to ensure all systems remain fully operational and legally compliant. Accurately complete maintenance logs, test certificates, and compliance documentation. Support planned upgrades and modifications to lighting infrastructure as part of site-wide improvement projects. Liaise with site management and contractors to coordinate works with minimal disruption to operations. Ensure all work is carried out safely, adhering to site policies and health & safety regulations.Requirements Electrically Qualified - You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2&3 AM2 Must be able to pass security clearance A proven track record in commercial maintenance Excellent customer service skills Honest, hard working and reliable
