Scaffolding and Access Role: Scaffolding Design Engineer Location: South East Based North London Based Salary: Competitive basic bonus scheme, pension, phone, laptop & car. Role: My client is a market leading successful and expanding specialist scaffolding contractor that has invested heavily in capital expenditure in the last year and are now looking to develop their design department. They are looking for an experienced Scaffold Design Engineer to establish a design office for them, as they look to move away from outsourcing their design requirements. The role will work from their London headquarters and with site visits, reporting to the Operations Director. The role will provide scaffolding design schemes including the production of detailed design drawings, structural calculations and design risk assessments for a range of projects whilst adhering to the latest codes of practice, UK regulations and company policies. Design Engineer – Scaffolding: This is a superb opportunity for a Scaffolding Design Engineer who will have: * Relevant experience of construction design that includes access scaffolding, temporary works and scaffold design * AutoCAD skills are essential, as well as good general IT skills * Ability to read and fully understand engineering plans and section details * Ability to understand and produce variety of scaffold designs based on client requirements * Able to work under pressure, meet targets and work to deadlines * Based in the South-East If you are interested in this role, then please send me your CV with a covering letter
